This document is based on Air Liban's schedules, eff. May, 1959.
The Douglas DC-4s were being phased out and replaced by the Douglas DC6, the first of which was added to the fleet in 1957.

Dakotas were still used flown to Nicosia and Aleppo. Air Liban flew to Jeddah, Cairo,Kuwait, Doha and Dhahran by Douglas DC-6s.





Flights to Iraq were suspended in 1959. On the other hand Air Liban flew daily to Palestine. Westward, Air Liban operated the prestigious service to Paris via Ankara once weekly.

The African network of Air Liban included Khartoum, Kano, Lagos, Accra and Abidjan. This lucrative service will be maintained and developed after the merger with MEA.
