THE CEDARJET PAGES

MEA TIMETABLE,EFF. WINTER-SPRING 1950.

This document is based on MEA's 1950 timetable issue. MEA had shifted to an alliance with Pan American World Airways a year earlier, and operated then an all-Dakota fleet.

MEA operated 5 weekly  flights to Cairo-Almaza ( Egypt), 2 flights weekly to Kuwait, Dhahran (Saudi Arabia) and Nicosia (Cyprus),  and a weekly flight to Baghdad (Iraq).

The alliance with PAA will go on until 1955. During this period, MEA will consolidate its rank as a major regional airline.
