MEA TIMETABLE, JULY 1975.
Document sent by Gregory Buchakjian @ Baron&Baron Website.
MEA's timetable of flights leaving BEY was a feature of the Lebanon Fortnightly tourist publication.
This timetable is that of the airline during the first months of war in Lebanon. The airline's network throughout 3 continents was still largely unaffected, despite the suspension of services to Erevan, Sofia and Budapest. MEA started its codeshare flights with Iberia from Beirut to Madrid in 1975, these will be maintained until 1996. MEA operated daily flights from Beirut to Abu Dhabi, Amman, Athens, Bahrain, Cairo, Dhahran, Dubai, Jeddah, London, Nicosia and Paris. The airline also introduced its newly aquired Boeing 747s on the London, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat sectors.

MEA advertisements found in French press in 1975. The yellow and orange corporate colors, chosen to accompany the airline throughout a golden age of expansion will become those of MEA's struggle for survival during the difficult years ahead.
